Day 15, Little Musselroe to Tomahawk

After taking in some local knowledge from Phil (a nice block we meet the night before around the campfire) about how to avoid running a ground on the rocks, we once again paddled out through the very shallow waters of the Little Musselroe River.

Today we had the tide and the wind on our side, so it was a very fast paddle indeed -- easily averaging 10kms per hour... a nice change from the day before!!!

We had a stop over at Campbells Point, near the Boobyalla Inlet, and on returning to the water were amazed at how calm the water had become, it was actually quiet a strange site as the boats glided across the silk-like water, with the clouds reflected as clearly as ourselves.

On arrival at Tomahawk we were unsure of where to land, so we made for the shop, which turned out to also be the office for the caravan park, so after some haggling about price, we were furnished with a loverly waterside camp site... to the kids who let off the fireworks during the night; thanks guys.
