Day 8 – fundraising day in Launceston
Today was a very well earned rest day from paddling the kayak, although it was not a rest from fundraising, as Charles joined the rest of the support crew for a long day on the table outside the IGA X-press Davies Grand Central store in Wellington Street, Launceston.
With it's location on one of Launceston's busiest street the Davis Grand Central store proved to be a wonderful spot for fundraising, with well over $700 raised.
We would like to thank Ken and Lyn Davies and their staff for their support through out the day.
Charles with Allan Roark, kindly sold some raffle tickets for us in his pub in Launceston.
