Day Nine, Friendly Beaches to Bicheno
Todays paddle was rather short, in very nice conditions, a light following wind pushed us up to Bicheno in 2hrs.
We had a nice chat to a few local fisherman, the first of whom gave Charles a five-buck donation, while the other fellow was a bit busy pulling his nets, so we suggested he might like to call either of our sponsors on Monday and make a donation.
Once on the beach at Bicheno we had a welcome break from paddling, as we enjoy several hours of collecting donations on the beach, playing with the kids on the beach (Charles), updating the blog (Chris) and catching forty winks (Ben).
