Day one of the real thing simulated
16th September
65kms, loads of seals and perfect conditions, resulting in an average speed of just over 8kms / hr. This was a great day out... commencing as usual from Blackmans Bay beach, with the guys having a nice stop over at Verona Sands, before they pushed on to Southport.
A good day on the water was topped off with a very pleasant over night stay at Southport, with wives and kids also enjoying all that Southport has to offer, before returning home the next day.
